This stunning and vibrant ribbon skirt is made using the "Berry Pop Rainbow" satin fabric. It's complimented with 10 beautiful layers of stacked ribbon which also includes pockets and an insider liner.
At 49 Design, we want you to feel confident and comfortable in our ribbon skirts. To guide you to the perfect fit, please take note of the following sizing.
A Line Skirts: Elegance meets precision in our A Line skirts, designed for a sleek and tailored appearance. It's important to note that A Line skirts are cut to be narrower in the hip area, providing a more fitted silhouette. You’ll notice an A line skirt because it will have less gathering in the waist. As these skirts are crafted from luxurious Satin, a fabric with no stretch, we recommend ordering at least 2 size up if you have a larger hip measurement.
Otherwise, when you sit down, you may pop the seams open near the pockets due to there being no give in the fabric. This ensures that you not only embrace the sophisticated A-line look but also enjoy a comfortable and flattering fit.
Box Shape Skirts: For those seeking a skirt with more room in the hips, our Box Shape skirts are the perfect choice. You’ll notice a box shape skirt by the amount of gathered material in the waist. If there is more gathering, it is more likely to be a box shape skirt. These skirts offer a generous cut, providing both style and comfort. In most cases, individuals with larger hip measurements will find the Box Shape skirts accommodate their curves beautifully.
For best care of your items, please follow these instructions:
- Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water.
- If possible, use a delicates bag during washing.
- Either tumble dry with no heat or hang dry to preserve the fabric.
- When ironing, use a warm iron on the lowest setting.
- For 100% polyester items such as chiffon or some satin, ALWAYS use a press cloth to protect the fabric.
We always recommend testing a small, inconspicuous piece before ironing to ensure the best results and preserve the integrity of your garment.

Are you Indigenous Owned?
We get this question all the time and we are happy to answer it!
We are proud to be fully Indigenous owned. Our owner, J. Nathan Rainy Chief started this business in 2020. The store was originally called 49 Dzine.
Why did you change your name?
It's pretty simple. Rainy Chief Trading Post is a store that is based on the traditional values and lessons taught by our Ancestors. Our store in particular is named in honor of one of the greatest of our Ancestors; Rainy Chief of the Northern Bloods.
How the heck do I find you?!

We do apologize, we have found that we are a bit hidden to most people.

We are open every single day of the week!
Sunday: 12-5pm
Mon and Tues: 10am-5pm
Wed - Sat: 11am-7pm
During holidays or certain times of the year we will extend our hours or shut down early.
